How to participate in BOQ bid on GeM

In previous article we have seen that how to participate in GeM bid. But, in this article we are going to learn how to participate in BOQ format bids on GeM.

What is BOQ Bids

BOQ means Bill of Quantities. The BOQ is a bunch of the items. These types of bids create to procure large number of items in a single tender. For example, if an organization needs 100 types of items through GeM. Then he has to publish 100 bids for all those. It takes large amount of time. Therefore GeM introduce the BoQ bids.

How to find BOQ Bids

I have already wrote an article about how to find bids. You can find a BOQ bid by going to bidplus.gem.gov.in and search by selecting the category as BOQ.

Steps to participate

Most of the steps will remain the same as other bid participation. Only the catalogue portion will change. Let's have a look in depth.

Find the bid and click on the Participate button.

Note: if you aren't able to find the Participate button, you can logout and do login again

Now, you need to enter three details of your product.

1. Make
2. Model
3. HSN Code

Once you have entered the details click on the "Save and Continue".

Enter the offer price

Upload the required documents

Upload the EMD details (Not applicable if you have EMD exemption)

Verify with the available verification method.

Congratulation You have successfully participated in BOQ Bids
