How use Advance Search Option to Find Bids on GeM Portal

In the last article, we have seen the basic ways to find the bids/RAs on the GeM (Government e-Marketplace). We will see the advanced and efficient way to find the right tenders on the GeM for your products or services.

Find bids on gem by using advance search

Go to https://gem.gov.in and click on the "Ongoing Bids" link from the dropdown of the "Bids" link. The system will redirect you to the advance search option of ongoing bids.

There are four tabs may available for searching bids on GeM.
  1. Search by Bid / RA details
  2. Search by Ministry / Organization
  3. Search by Consignee Location
  4. Search by BOQ Title

Search by Bid / RA details

You can search an Ongoing Bid or RA by their number or in a particular category

Advance Search Bids on GeM
  • Enter the Bid / RA number or select the category you want to find the bid for
  • Select the specific bid end dates range
  • Enter the captcha
  • Click on the "Search" button

Search by Ministry/ Organization

You can search an Ongoing Bid or RA by the ministry or the organization name which are mostly related to your products or services

Search bid by ministry on GeM
  • Select the Ministry from the dropdown list
  • Select the Organization name (Optional)
  • Select the specific bid end dates range
  • Enter the captcha
  • Click on the "Search" button

Search by Consignee Location

This tab will help you to target the bids or RAs for the specific location in India.

  • Select the Consignee State from the dropdown
  • Select the Consignee City from the dropdown
  • Select the specific bid end dates range
  • Enter the captcha
  • Click on the "Search" button

Search by BOQ Title

This tab will help you to find the BOQ (Bill of Quantities) bids by their title.

Search tenders by BOQ title on GeM
  • Select the title name of the BOQ (Choose a name that is related to your product or service)
  • Select the specific bid end dates range
  • Enter the captcha
  • Click on the "Search" button
